Student volunteers from the University of Arkansas worked to improve the lives of others as a part of Make a Difference Day.
Some students volunteered at Tri-Cycle Farms helping the farm get ready for winter by pulling weeds and mulching.
One student at the U of A says it is important to take care of Fayetteville
“I think it’s important to try and help people, as students we are guests of Fayetteville and so anything and everything we can do to better the community is a positive thing,” Junior at the University of Arkansas J.P. Gairhan said.
Make a difference day is a national campaign.
This is the 26th year where volunteers across America join for a day of community service.
