FORT SMITH, AR — The Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House was just one of Congressman Steve Womack’s stops while visiting the River Valley Thursday.
This is the congressman’s second time to tour the facility and he said the cancer support house is vital to the River Valley.
“It’s a very important part of the quality of life for the greater Forth Smith region,” Womack said. “There’s not anybody watching this program right now that hasn’t been affected either personally or through a relative the horrible consequences of cancer.”
Womack met with members of the board and discussed funding for the Cancer Support House.
