SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA) — The founder of Core Brewing Co. has stepped aside as the company’s CEO.
A Core news release announced that Jesse Core has stepped aside from the CEO position to focus on responsibilities associated with serving as the chairman of the Core Board of Directors.
The change is effective immediately.
“Mr. Core will shift his emphasis toward special projects, investor relations and brand ambassadorship for his beloved brewery,” the news release states. “Mr. Core expounds upon the transition, explaining that ‘For 8 years, I have invested my heart and soul into this company,’ but knows that ‘the time has come for a change in order to usher in the new era of prosperity our team and loyal supporters deserve.’”
The Board of Directors has appointed Christopher Reed as the new Core CEO.
Reed has led Core’s sales and marketing division to 38% growth over the last year and will now assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations, the news release states.
