Counseling Offered to Prevent Missing Credit Card Payment

Credit Counseling of Arkansas is offering solutions for individuals who have missed credit card payments.

Forty-million Americans are expected to miss a credit card payment this year, according to a survey released by Wallet Hub.

CCOA, 1111 E. Zion Road, in Fayetteville, is offering to meet with people in person and online to discuss their overall financial status.

“We take a look at their overall financial situation. We help create a budget with them and give them some tips and advice they can use to implement a brighter financial future,” said Mark Foster, director of education for Credit Counseling of Arkansas.

Meeting with a credit counselor could save you thousands of dollars in the future when it comes to big investments like home and car loans, according to CCOA.
