Crews Respond to House Fire in Rogers

Fire crews In Rogers responded to reports of an electrical fire.

The fire was burning in the attic of a home near North 9th Street and West Persimmon Street. 

The fire happened around 9 a.m. Sunday morning, no injuries have been reported so far. The Roger’s fire department responds to thousands of calls a year.  

In 2018, RFD responded to over 7,200 emergency incidents. The department also reports it saved over 90 percent of property that was on fire.

The most common area for a fire statistically was the kitchen, and the second most common was the bedroom. EMS calls decreased by 7 percent, which is the first decrease in eight years.
