(via KARK) — The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) arrested a man Tuesday on charges related to Child Porn.

Mark E. Nipps Jr., 29, of Conway, was charged with one count of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

The FCSO began investigating Nipps Monday after receiving a cyber tip-line report from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.  Acting on that report, FCSO investigators began an investigation and obtained a search warrant for Nipps’ home on Clifton Street.

Multiple items of computer related evidence were seized and removed from the residence for further analysis. At the time of the search, officials also interviewed Nipps. Following the interview and the completed search, Nipps was booked, where he currently awaits bond and a court date.

The FCSO considers this is an on-going investigation.

The FCSO encourages citizens to monitor online activity and quickly report anything illegal or suspicious via the cyber tip-line https://report.cybertip.org/ or by calling your local law enforcement agency.
