Deadline to Mail Holiday Packages

The deadline to mail packages and letters in time for the holiday’s is almost here.

USPS expects Monday, December 14 to be the busiest mailing and shipping day for holiday packages, letters and cards. Monday, December 21, is expected to be the busiest delivery day.

USPS says December 15 is the last day to use standard shipping for mail to arrive on time for Christmas. December 19 is the last day to ship using First Class mail. The deadline for Priority Mail is December 21. Priority Mail Express can be sent until December 23.

UPS says the final day to mail a package using 3 Day Select is December 18. December 22 is the last day to ship something 2 Day Air and have it arrive by Christmas. December 23 is the deadline to overnight packages. They will arrive the December 24.

FedEx says packages should be shipped FedEx Ground by December 16 to ensure they will arrive by Christmas. December 21 is the deadline for Express Saver. December 22 is the last day to ship 2 Day Air. The last day to overnight packages is December 23. They will arrive December 24.
