BENTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA) — Planners in Benton County have rejected a dog rescue operation despite it operating for more than three years.
They claim that Heavenly Paws Rescue Kennel was open for business without going through the proper planning process.
Neighbors had complained about the noise and smell from the kennel, but an animal control officer praised Heavenly Paws’ work.
The Planning Board voted unanimously to reject the company’s site plan.
