Wisconsin-based Duluth Trading Company opened its doors to its first store in the Natural State right here in Northwest Arkansas.
To celebrate, the store held a grand opening with a flannel ribbon cutting ceremony along with a lumberjack show.
The show featured head-to-head axe throwing, log splitting and sawing competitions.
“We’re doing a little lumberjack demonstration. So we’ve got cross cut sawing, some axe throwing, some underhand chopping and then we’ll run some steel chainsaws,” said Samantha Lasalle, MC LumberJill. “We like to travel around the country with Duluth and spread the wood chopping love.”
The brand offers men’s and women’s casual wear, workwear, apothecary and accessories.
This will be Duluth Trading Company’s 53rd store to open in the U.S.
