A new program to help elderly residents enjoy the Razorback Greenway trail kicked off in Bentonville.
Cycling Without Age is a program that strives to connect and improve the lives of elders or anyone that needs assistance to feel the wind in their hair.
Volunteers can sign up for bike rides with the elderly as often as they want.
“We need people that care so we can have relationships with people that can’t get out and about,” said Jan Carr of Cycling Without Age. “This is about relationships, it’s not about biking, but it’s also about putting Northwest Arkansas on the map as being the first chapter.”
Pilots were giving rides around the Bentonville Square at First Friday.
