Barrett Baber had quite the crowd in the audience Monday night. His parents, wife and two young kids made it to Los Angeles just in time for the live performances!
“It was a huge shot in the arm last night. You know, I got back from rehearsal. I thought the kids were already going to be asleep, but they were waiting on me in the lobby and ran across the lobby to me and that’s probably why I’m so calm today. I got to see my kids, got remind myself of how important they are and what this is really all about. It’s about us, not about me… You know, we contemplated not bringing the kids because it is such a difficult thing to travel with them but in the end we decided this is going to be one of the most special two nights of our life regardless of the outcome. We would never want to tell them that we decided to leave them at home because they’re a pain in the neck, so they’re here and I’m excited that they’re here and they’ll always have this moment to watch,” said Barrett Baber
He was happy to be able to show people who he really is as an artist, and what kind of music you can expect to see from him. If you download either “Die a Happy Man” or “Silent Night,” that will count as a vote. Also, downloading any of Barrett’s previous live performances count as votes as well. Of course, you can still vote at NBC.com, NBC The Voice on Facebook or by downloading The Voice app. Voting closes Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Arkansas time
