Barrett Baber is getting ready for the Voice finale in just a matter of days, but he has not been back to Northwest Arkansas in weeks.
His two young kids, Brooks and Elliott, are too young to make weekly trips from Arkansas to California. So Barrett’s wife, Sarah, makes a point to make sure the kids stay connected with their dad.
“We FaceTime mulitple times a day and he promises, ‘You know I’m coming home, right? You know I’m coming home, right?’ They say, ‘yeah!’ It’s exciting for them. There’s been so many commercials, they see him alot and they love that. The little promos with Brooks in them especially, he loves to see himself. So it’s kind of been a fun game, see how many times we can find Dad today on TV. And then we pray for him to be safe and we pray for him to come home soon.”
The kids and Sarah will be getting on a flight Sunday, getting to Los Angeles just in time for part one of the live finale!
