Live shows on The Voice kick off in just a matter of days, with Fayetteville’s own Barrett Baber singing for Team Blake on the national stage.

We sat down with Baber’s parents to talk about the journey so far, and his dad had a message for his son and anyone else working toward a dream.

“It’s not so much about getting famous or getting rich, it’s about, have a dream pursue it. If things get hard, and they will, keep going and I think he’s living that message and it inspires me. Obviously, I’m impressed with my son for any number of reasons and you love your children, but he’s a young man that inspires me to be a better human being and I like that about him.”

Be sure to watch the final knockout round of The Voice on Tuesday, November 3, on KNWA.
