Fayetteville High School Students Help Support Homeless Community Overnight

Students at Fayetteville High School are coming together to support the local homeless community for their 20th Annual Homeless Vigil.

The FHS Student Council created makeshift houses where they will live and sleep for the night.

This is all in effort to raise awareness and donations for the over 300 students in the district that don’t have a place to sleep at night.

Student Council Secretary Grace Wood, said she wants the community to be aware of what other Fayetteville students have to go through especially during the winter.

They will be accepting donations and non-perishable goods at the high school until 11 PM Thursday night. You can also donate anytime at their link here.
