The City of Fayetteville held an event Wednesday to update the public on the latest information regarding the costs of storm water management.
The event was held at the Fayetteville Public Library and also highlighted the progress of the city’s study for flood management and water quality funding. The study began in September 2018.
“I think it’s always important, anytime we propose any type of change to make sure the community is informed about that change,” said Alan Pugh, staff engineer for the City of Fayetteville. “Certainly we want people to understand the potential need for some additional funding to be able to deal with the systems that we have.”
Another public meeting will be held Thursday at the Arkansas Research and Technology Park in room 535 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
