Fayetteville Officials Seek to Curb Storm Water Flooding

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — Administration with the City of Fayetteville is asking for input to proactively curb storm water flooding across the city.

At a meeting Thursday, city engineers talked about the the level of services they can provide to people as a public utility service.

The goal is to develop options for funding and ultimately present those plans to the City Council for consideration next spring.

There are two community engagement events for you to share your issues.

The first is Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Ozark Natural Foods Community Service Room.

You can also attend the Fayetteville Farmers Market.

Stop by the Downtown Square from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday to share your problems.
