Fayetteville Public Library Hosts Community Events

Fayetteville Public Library Kicks Off Summer Reading Program_-1887072658508920132

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — The Fayetteville Public Library Summer Reading Club is having several family events this summer.

The library will have a movie playing every Friday at 10 a.m. for families to stop by and watch.

The movies will be shown in the Walker Community Room.

Here is a schedule of the dates and movies that will be playing: 

June 8: Ferdinand (PG)

June 15: The Incredibles (PG)

June 22: Coco (PG)

June 29: The Aristocats (G)

July 6: Rock Dog (PG)

July 13: Peter Rabbit (PG)

July 20: A Wrinkle in Time (PG)

July 27: Sherlock Gnomes (PG)

August 3: Early Man (PG)

August 11: Mary Poppins (G)

There library also offers events for adults. The Mountain Street Stage Music Series features musicians who perform every Sunday in June and July from 2-4 p.m. at the Walker Community Room.

Here is a schedule of the dates and musicians performing:

June 10: Jack Martin’s Jazz Mafia (Multi-stylistic jazz)

June 17: Sad Daddy (Southern soul, folk and Americana)

June 24: Route 358 (Acoustic country, pop and bluegrass blend)

July 1: Betse and Clarke (Old time fiddle and banjo duo)

July 8: Shore and Cockram (Ballads, swing and contemporary folk)

July 15: East of Zion (Ozark Mountain tunes)

July 22: Beau Jennings and The Tigers (Americana, indie and folk rock)

July 29: Divas on Fire (Blend of blues and soul)
