Fayetteville Road Closures Due to Hispanic Heritage Festival


FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — The 6th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival will have streets blocked off in Fayetteville. 

Portions of Mountain Street, East Avenue, Center Street and Block Avenue surrounding the Fayetteville Downtown Square will be closed beginning at 11:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Authorities said they encourage drivers to use alternate routes and exercise extreme caution in the area. 

The festival will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday and the event is free to the public. 

There will be music, food and vendors.
