Another one of Fayetteville’s own made it past the blind auditions on NBC’s The Voice.

Trey O’Dell watched Monday night’s episode surrounded by family and friends at JJ’s Grill in Fayetteville. He was raised in Harrison, has been living, singing and writing songs in Fayetteville for the last couple of years, and he is now ready to go wherever this crazy ride takes him.

“Auditioning, it was an out of body experience. I remember being up there, my mind turned off and I was all auto pilot and I was just doing my thing and letting it happen.”

Before The Voice aired, O’Dell put on a special performance for all of his supporters at JJ’s. He knows this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and he feels blessed for the chance to see how far this journey takes him.

Be sure to watch The Voice on KNWA Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
