Fayetteville to host special election to fill city council seat formerly held by Matthew Petty

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fayetteville will host a special election to fill a city council seat. Voters will go to the polls on February 8.

The election is to fill the Ward 2 position that was vacated last month by Matthew Petty.

The ward covers a large portion of downtown and the University of Arkansas campus.
