FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — A 50-year-old Fayetteville woman is in jail after she filed a false police report.

Lydia Winstead told police Thursday (July 5) that her ex-boyfriend, Casey Bailey, was at her neighbor’s house loading a gun to shoot her.

Winstead stated that she did not see Bailey at the neighbor’s house but could hear his voice and him loading a gun with ammo. She said Bailey had two firearms in his possession and that he was having sex with her neighbor.

When police arrived they found nobody was in the neighbor’s trailer.

Police located Bailey at another location where Bailey told them Winstead was harassing him via text message.

Winstead sent Bailey numerous messages, two stating that she was going to call the cops on Bailey and that God was going to get him.

Police arrested Winstead for filing a false police report and harassing communications.

She is being held on $1500 bond.
