UPDATE: Double Homicide Victims Named; Their Son ID'd as Suspect

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA) - UPDATE: Franklin County authorities have identified the victims of a double homicide as well as the suspect, who remains on the loose.

Sgt. Travis Ball with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office identified the victims as 53-year-old Kathy Jordan and 56-year-old Michael Jordan.

Their son Dustin Jordan, 23, was identified as the suspect. He remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding Dustin Jordan's whereabouts is asked to contact Ball or Investigator Kevin Hutchison at (479) 667-4127.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division is investigating a double homicide. 

On Monday at around 4:30 p.m. deputies say they requested a welfare check for a couple on Compressor Road in the Etna Community.

"When the deputy arrived he noticed things that raised his suspicion of potential violence that occurred at the residence," the news release states. 

The deputy then asked for investigators to arrive. 

Law enforcement then went inside the home and found two bodies, a woman and man. 

The Sheriffs' Office said it was apparent that the two individuals were the victims of homicide.

The Sheriffs' Office said it appeared that the two were targeted specifically and the homicides were not random.

Officials say that a 2012 Ford F-150 pickup, white in color has gone missing from the home. 

The truck should have an Arkansas license plate of 009 UYK, according to the news release.
