FEMA Visiting Lake Tenkiller Today

FEMA is set to be in Oklahoma today to survey the damage left behind from tornadoes last month.

Sequoyah County Emergency Management officials say crews will visit parts of Lake Tenkiller.

An EF-1 and an EF-2 tornado hit the areas of Black Gum, Chicken Creek and Snake Creek.

Several homes, boats and RV’s were destroyed.

FEMA will tour the damage and determine if the area qualifies for federal assistance.
