Fayetteville High School welcomed incoming ninth graders for the upcoming school year at the Bulldog Bash.
This event allows current eighth grade students from Ramay and Woodland junior high schools to visit FHS.
The students were welcomed by the FHS band and spirit squads as they arrived.
Groups of students met in the performing arts center to hear from FHS Principal Dr. Jay Dostal before breaking into smaller groups to tour the campus and meet with faculty members as well as current students to learn more about the school.
“To have the kids go through the inflatable bulldog and go into the performing art center and have the band out here playing… the cheerleaders, the dance team… it’s just a great way to show our future students we’re excited to have you join our team. It’s just a really cool day,” Dostal said.
Dostal is new to Fayetteville, and this was his first Bulldog Bash.
Dostal said he’s excited about the amount of kids involved.
