The Fayetteville City Council has reviewed the final drawings for the proposed Cultural Arts Corridor.
The project involves turning the Walton Arts Center parking lot into a civic space and adding a nature attraction next to the Fayetteville Public Library.
The civic space will have a watercourse, open event space and room for buildings.
More design phases are expected to be completed later this year.
The Arts Corridors has a price tag of about $31.7 million that voters will decide at the polls through a bond issue to pay for it on April 9.
