Fayetteville rookie firefighters took part in a training exercise that will come in handy in the future.
An auto accident rescue class was held Thursday in Fayetteville so that firefighters can become certified as part of their jobs. When the situation calls for it, these first responders will be ready to act.
“We get on scene, we get called to a MVA, we’ll be more proficient, they’ll be more proficent at getting them out,” Fayetteville Fire Captain Tony Gage explained. “So, no time lost on scene.”
The training is offered multiple times throughout the year.
