First Annual Christmas Honors at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs

The American Legion Siloam Post 29 invites the community to help honor serviceman and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

On Saturday, December 15, volunteers will transform the Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs by placing one wreath on each of the 700 plus veteran headstones in their honor.

A workshop and wreath assembly will be held at John Brown University in the meeting room of the Great Hall starting at 6 p.m. tonight.

Families of veterans will lay wreaths on their loved one’s headstones from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the cemetery. A public ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. and after the ceremony, volunteers will begin to lay wreaths on the remaining headstones.
