FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — The first cannabidiol, or CBD, shop in Fayettville has officially opened.
CBD Sacred Leaf officially opened its doors last Saturday.
The store offers several products that use the hemp extract and offers discounts to veterans and those with chronic conditions.
“Cannabidiol is a chemical in the Cannabis sativa plant, also known as marijuana. Over 80 chemicals, known as cannabinoids, have been identified in the Cannabis sativa plant,” said the website WebMD.
Agricultural hemp comes from cannabidiol, according to www.leafly.com.
Sacred Leaf has several locations in Missouri and Kansas to go with it’s new Fayetteville location.
