LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Medical marijuana cultivation licenses were awarded to five companies in response to Tuesday’s formal lifting of the injunction that halted the issuance of licenses.
Those companies include:
• Natural State Medicinals Cultivation
• Bold Team, LLC
• Natural State Wellness Enterprises
• Osage Creek Cultivation
• Delta Medical Cannabis Company, Inc.
These are the same five companies that originally received cultivation licenses before court involvement.
Medical Marijuana Commission (MMC) rules require cultivation licenses be issued upon the companies paying the $100,000 license fee and posting a $500,000 performance bond.
“With each company completing these requirements and the injunction lifted, each of the five companies listed above received formal notification today through a letter along with a physical copy of the cultivation license,” a MMC news release states.
A MMC meeting to be held on Thursday will include a discussion of next steps regarding unsuccessful cultivation applications.
