SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KFTA) — Fans from all over Arkansas were gearing up for the start of the season this afternoon at the annual football Kickoff Luncheon in Springdale.

Every year, this event signifies football season is right around the corner.

It’s the first time fans heard from the new head hog and coordinators.

The players were also able to interact with fans as they ate lunch.

We are now 15 days away from the hogs’ first game against Eastern Illinois.

“This state is so deserving, so deserving of something great to happen and its going to happen, it’s going to happen by all of us joining arms and one day at a time being the absolute best Razorback we can be right here, right now. We will worry about tomorrow, tomorrow, but it’s all about being the best we can be today,” Head Coach Chad Morris said.
