Former Bentonville Daycare Worker Accused of Sexually Assaulting a Third Child

News

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — A former Bentonville daycare worker now faces a third charge of sexually assaulting a minor.

Nathan Clemons has been arrested for the third time on suspicion of second-degree sexual assault against a minor.

“This third arrest was a result of a continuing investigation of Clemons who was a former daycare worker,” Sgt. Gene Page of the Bentonville Police Department said.

Clemons was arrested on June 29 and on Aug. 8 for the previous counts of sexual assault.

“Clemons bonded out following each arrest, but police continued the investigation and discovered a third victim that resulted in a third and separate charge of sexual assault, 2nd degree, Class B felony,” Page said.

Clemons was arrested at his home in Rogers. He is currently being held in the Benton County Detention Center awaiting a formal bond hearing.

Police are recommending at $200,000 bond for Clemons.

His bond hearing is set for Friday in Benton County Court.
