Former Razorback Darren McFadden Arrested for DWI

Former Arkansas running back Darren McFadden was arrested early Monday, January 21, according to police in McKinney, Texas.

A police report states McFadden was booked into Collin County Jail in Texas. He is facing charges of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and misdemeanor resisting arrest. 

“We received a call just after midnight from employees at the Whataburger in the 9000 block of W University about a man who was asleep in the drive through,” according to the police report.

McFadden, 31, has posted a $2,000 bond and been released, according to police in Texas.

McFadden was announced as an inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame on January 7.
