FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- - A Fort Smith man has been arrested for forcing a 16-year-old girl into prostitution.
According to a police affidavit, 31-year-old Kenyan Roane met the victim via Facebook and has been "trying to prostitute" her since she was 12 years old.
Roane would set up meetings for the girl around Fayetteville, Fort Smith, and Jonesboro.
The affidavit also states that Roane kidnapped the girl and would be in control of the girl's phone and money.
Roane would also post ads with nude photos of the girl to the Internet.
Roane was arrested on January 9 on a charge of Enticement and Coercion of a Minor to Engage in Prostitution and he is currently in the Washington County Detention Center.
