FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — UPDATE: Fort Smith police are looking for Jeremy Mims, also known as Abdullah Al Karim, for questioning, according to a press release. He may be armed and dangerous.

Police said that Mims has active warrants that include a petition to revoke, three failures to appear and a full extradition warrant from the Board of Parole for two domestic first degree batteries, breaking-and-entering and third degree domestic battery.

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fort Smith police are investigating a shooting at N. 37th Street.

According to a press release from the Fort Smith Police Department, a 34-year-old man was transported to a local hospital. The status of his injuries is unknown.

Police believe the shooting to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public. No arrests have been made.
