FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — UPDATE: According to Aric Mitchell with the Fort Smith Police Department, Vearrier has been found safe.

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fort Smith police need help finding a man who was reported missing on October 18.

Police say they are looking for Alex Vearrier, 26. Vearrier is schizophrenic and on the autism spectrum.

Vearrier was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, black boots and a black hat with burgundy dyed hair.
