Fort Smith School Board votes to end mask policy

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Fort Smith School Board of Education voted Monday to end the current mask policy.

According to Christina Williams with the school district, the policy will end on Friday, May 28.

Williams says beginning Tuesday, June 1, masks are optional for all employees and students. It includes all summer activities in district buildings and schools.
