Attorney Joey McCutchen and Robbie Wilson will hold a forum to state their reasons for opposing the proposed Marshal Museum tax.
The forum is open to the public and will be held at the Northside High School Auditorium in Fort Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28.
McCutchen is the founder of the Transparency In Government Group of Western Arkansas and opposes the one-cent sales tax.
McCutchen states that “more questions need to be answered about not only the tax but also about ownership and related issues of the Marshals Museum.”
In order to encourage more transparency, McCutchen has invited Fort Smith Mayor George McGill, Fort Smith Board of Directors and City Administrators to attend the forum to answer questions.
