A Northwest Arkansas organization wants to help kids achieve supreme skills, worth, attitude and grit, or in other words, their SWAG.
The founder of Supreme Swag, Tonya McCoy, joined Fox 24 to speak about Supreme SWAG.
Supreme SWAG is a new organization in the NWA area dedicated to developing and supporting youth in sports and life. They want to offer opportunities to kids at every socioeconomic level. They will train, teach, & equip boys and girls in a variety of age groups to excel in sports, academics, & life skills.
Here is what SWAG stands for:
Skills: Players will be expected to practice and train regularly to master the fundamentals of the sport. They will be tested on their aptitude based on a uniform list of skill mastery.
Worth: Players will be expected to be useful and add value to the team. They will exhibit high merit by being productive and achieving the goals set before them in life and sports.
Attitude: Players will be expected to come ready to learn and work hard. They must be team players, coachable, and humble. They will be expected to give 100% effort with cooperative behavior at all times.
