Flu Deaths Rise in AR

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KARK) -- As of Monday morning, the number of flu related deaths has increased to 122, up from the 94 deaths reported last week.

Health officials say the season still hasn't peaked.

The Health Department Director told lawmakers Monday morning: "This will be by far the deadliest flu season we've had in at least the past two decades."

The Health Department still maintains about a third of the 122 deaths got their flu shot, based on responses from 60 percent of their families.
