Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Looking for Individual Involved in Drive-by Shooting


The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is looking for a man who they say was involved in a drive-by shooting on Saturday. 

Franklin County dispatchers say they received a call on Saturday about a person who had been shot in Altus.  

Officers responded and found out that a silver passenger car drove by a residence at the intersection of Hendrix Street and Crumpler Street and fired multiple shots at the residence and individuals who were located outside at the time, according to a news release.  

Officials say a 26-year-old man was shot on the arm. 

The people at the residence fired back at the vehicle, according to a news release.

The Sheriff’s Office was able to get surveillance video of the whole incident. 

“After speaking to several witnesses and passengers inside the vehicle, the shooter was identified as David Gabaldon, age 32,” the news release states.

Gabaldon was last seen in the Clarksville area of Johnson County, according to the news release.
