Students can get free backpacks with school supplies Saturday.
The giveaway is hosted by the Round Mountain Community Church and will be at the Elkins Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will also be snow cones, popcorn, free clothes and crafts for students and families. Students must be there to receive a backpack. The church says if you missed pre-registration, you can register to receive one at the event Saturday.
