Garfield Elementary temporarily goes virtual after water main break

GARFIELD, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A water main break has caused one school to transition to virtual learning.

Garfield Elementary Principal Stephen Bowman said there was enough time to communicate with teachers and parents about making the switch.

Students are expected to return back to school tomorrow.

They will need to bring bottled water for handwashing and drinking until the boil order is lifted.
