SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KFTA) — Northwest Arkansas families can enjoy a Christmas classic while supporting an important cause.
‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ will premiere at the Arts Center of the Ozarks on Thursday, December 13. Attendees can save money by donating a pint of blood to the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks in Springdale or Bentonville, which will make you eligible for a buy one, get one ticket deal.
Scott Anderson, president of the Northwest Arkansas Audio Theater, the organization putting on the show, said this collaboration with the blood center is important to allow other people to be helped the way his father was years ago.
“When you donate blood for people who really need it, they get the gift of life,” Anderson said. “They get to stay alive longer, experience life more, be with their loved ones. And it helps them have a wonderful life.”
