Girls Night Out for Women’s Health Month

News

October is Women’s Health Month. Dr. Erin Large is a doctor of obstetrics and gynecology with Her Health clinic at Washington Regional. She says it is very important for women to have an annual exam.

“As your gynecologist, we can play a critical role in engaging our patients in shared decision making about their reproductive health, their gynecologically health, or just their health in general. This is an opportunity to help facilitate healthy behaviors. This can also be an opportunity to council on preventative measures whether lifestyle changes or adding supplements or certain prescriptions into your life so that you can be the healthiest version of yourself.”

Dr. Large says that Her Health is uniquely qualified to help female patients with several types of medical needs.

“At Her Health we practice obstetrics and gynecology, and primary care. We provide a comprehensive gynecology obstetrics care for you. We are all women taking care of women. We have six providers who practice general obstetrics and gynecology. Whether adolescence or well into our nineties, we are available for your care whether reproductive needs or gynecology needs. There are two providers who are available for gynecology only. And we also have one practitioner who practices family medicine who can take care of routine primary care issues.”

To celebrate Women’s Health Month Washington Regional will be hosting Girl’s Night Out on Tuesday October 23rd from 6 to 8 pm.

Washington Regional is hosting Girls Night Out and it is an awesome event for ladies in northwest Arkansas and everyone should look into attending. We are focusing on you with Girls Night Out.
