Governor Asa Hutchinson was in Fort Smith on Friday taking part in the Arkansas Municipal League Winter Conference.
Speakers highlighted a range of topics affecting Arkansas including opioid abuse, panhandling, and medical marijuana.
Economic growth and business expansion was also talked about.
“When one city succeeds in bringing an industry that benefits us all. And so we need to work regionally, we need to work in partnership and not in competition,” Gov. Asa Hutchinson said.
The Arkansas Municipal League is the official representative of all cities and towns for state and federal governments.
