Governor Asa Hutchinson made a stop in the River Valley today to take a unique tour of the U.S. Marshals Museum still in the works.
The museum gave public officials exclusive access to virtual reality goggles that help navigate through the building.
The VR tours give people a way to see all that’s planned for the building.
“It really reflects the fact that tourism is our number two industry in Arkansas. Tourism is important in the River Valley and the new Marshals Museum is going to be important… new ingredient that’s going to attract visitors. Excited about the progress on that,” Gov. Asa Hutchinson said.
The museum is set to open in September 2019.
