Governor Asa Hutchinson will complete the third phase of his three-part plan on tax relief for Arkansans.
Hutchinson will sign Senate Bill 211 into law this afternoon.
The bill, also known as the 5.9 tax-cut plan will reduce the state’s top marginal tax rate from 6.9 to 5.9 percent within two years.
The Governor signed into law the two biggest income tax cuts in Arkansas history for low and middle-income taxpayers in 2015 and 2017.
