If the Labor Day grilling doesn’t do it for you, how about some pizza?
September 5 is National Cheese Pizza Day – a guilt-free reason to have a cheesey slice — or a few.
We stopped by for a slice from Marley’s Pizzeria in Fayetteville.
“I think people just like the simpler thing sometimes, you know? Sometimes you just have a craving for a good old fashioned cheese pizza,” Marley’s General Manager Jacob Brewer said.
According to a 2014 report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, about one in eight Americans consume pizza on any given day.
