Teachers in Rogers received a huge reward Monday.
The Rogers Public Education Foundation surprised teachers from different schools with $172,000 in grants.
The grants will fund classroom needs including additional iPads, Chromebooks and video equipment.
Scott Davis, the Rogers High School television adviser, talked about how this grant helps his program.
“This DSLR that they’re getting from the grant funding will help the students prepare for jobs they could get out in the professional world,” Davis said.
The Rogers Public Education Foundation along with other organizations provided 171 grants and awards to teachers so far this year.
