GRAVETTE, Ark. (KFTA) — A small town in Benton County is celebrating a century and a quarter within its own city limits.
The theme for the 125th anniversary of Gravette Day is “looking back and moving forward.”
It’s an opportunity for the town of Gravette to celebrate all that’s been accomplished since the town was founded in the late 1800’s.
“You get to see how the town is growing and you get to see how many people are wanting to flood into the area and you get to see a bunch of old friends too,” said Jacob Ballmann with First Baptist.
Gravette Day is an all day affair, which includes a parade, carnival rides, an arts and crafts show and the crowning of multiple beauty pageants.
